Artist’s Applications

Each month we will have an “Open Call” to local artists to submit their art for consideration in one of our themed exhibits the following month. Art submissions will be limited to “fine art”. Unfortunately we will not be accepting any craft items for sale or display in the gallery.

Art will be displayed and sold on consignment at the Shediac Art Gallery. Any eligible artists must be living in the Maritimes to qualify for exhibition.

To apply, please email the following information to shediacartgallery@gmail.com

• A photo of each piece of work, title of work, media used and measurements,

• The price for your work that you feel comfortable receiving for that piece. We will review it to see if it is a good fit for the Shediac Art Gallery and if there is enough margin to allow for mark up. If the answer is yes, we will schedule an appointment to see your work in person.

• Your artwork must be well finished and ready to hang on the gallery walls. All paintings must be wired for hanging with d-rings and plastic coated wire. Do not use string or plastic line.

• All artwork must be labelled on the back to include your name and title of piece.
