The Shediac Art Gallery seeks to bring our customers an exciting new collection of fine art each and every month.
We change it up all the time, and provide our customers with a new fresh “theme” of artwork to discover each month.
This gives our local artists a chance to “shine” in a gallery setting, and of course, by regularly rotating our art, we give our customers a reason to come back and visit often.
See you soon!
This exhibition was an Open Call to local artists and includes a wonderful collection of birds ranging from the waterfowl in our marsh areas to backyard birds at the feeder.
The diverse collection of styles from our local artists makes this exhibit a must see. We are sure you will find something to catch your eye and warm your heart.
September 2025 - Birds of a Feather
October 2025 - All things Autumn
This exhibition will be an Open Call to local artists and will include everything from the vibrant colours of fall’s changing leaves, to harvest imagery like pumpkins and apples, as well as expressions of the cozy atmosphere that autumn brings.
Autumn is a wonderful time to make soup for the ones we love from the vegetables one grows in the garden, a time to plan our Christmas knitting projects and so much more.
October can also be fun and a little spooky at times. You never know what kind of artistic expression our artists will come up with. Our artists will be inspired by various themes such as the transition and passage of time, as well as the natural beauty of landscapes during this time of year.
This will be a fabulous exhibit full of imagination. Don’t miss it!
November 2025 - Nostalgia
As we get a bit older, we often reflect on past memories of places and people in our lives. "Those were the good ol' days" we hear ourselves saying.
For the month of November 2025, the Shediac Art Gallery will be hosting a theme on "Nostalgia". Quite often emotionally charged, I predict that the paintings that local artists will submit for this month's theme will be top notch and capture some beautiful moments from days gone by.
The art we display changes regularly so we hope to see you soon so that you have a chance to enjoy this theme.
