Proud Citizen of Memramcook, NB, Roselys Belliveau [Cormier'] is very passionate about teaching. While obtaining her bachelor’s degree as a teacher at the University of Moncton, she took art classes with Claude Roussel and discovered a true passion for painting. In the following years, she developed her art skills and gained knowledge with mentors such as Cathy Linfield, Barbara [Safran] de Niverville amount others.

Blending both passions, teaching and art, Roselys has now been offering art classes for many years in Southeastern New Brunswick. Her work has been exhibited in many places like Memramcook, Dieppe, Moncton, Shediac and Bouctouche, just to name a few.

With her artistic talents, Roselys won five trophies at the sandcastle building competition in Shediac from 1987 to 1996. In 1988, she won first place in the competition and her work was featured in the New Brunswick tourist guidebook.

Roselys is also the recipient of various awards such as “Le prix Audrey Cole” for NB Intervenante of the year in 2016 and “Le prix Eloi” at the Monument Lefebvre in 2017.
